 Preface:

But in general, the development of medical devices in China compared with the developed countries is still a big gap, which is not only related to the equipment manufacturers, but also with the basic medical accessories can not keep up with the demand is closely related. Power module as the core components of the system, plays a vital role in this article on the power module in the medical device in the application of a simple description and sharing.

 
 1, Medical equipment on the power module which are the general requirements?

 Medical equipment is usually used for patient treatment or conventional family therapy, so almost all of the medical equipment is to contact with people, based on this condition, medical equipment relative to other equipment on the most demanding security requirements, simply listed as follows:
 A, EMC requirements:
 The conduction and radiation of the medical device needs to meet EN55011, the same as the EN50552 ITE equipment.  B, safe distance and pressure:
 Medical standards are different from the conventional certification, in order to ensure safe and reliable, in the standard clearly defined the system safety distance and pressure requirements, these distance and pressure requirements will be based on the application and the crowd to distinguish, according to the protection method is divided into MOPP (patient protection mode) and MOOP (operator protection mode), according to the type of equipment is divided into B class, BF class, CF class. Taking into account the versatility of the module, medical power engineers in the design process, usually as much as possible to meet the most demanding requirements, simply as follows:
 ① L, N on the PE 1500VAC isolation, electrical clearance 2.5mm, creepage distance 4.0mm.

 C, ultra-low leakage current requirements:

 D, grounding continuity requirements: the reason why the medical power of this indicator is mainly due to the large grounding resistance, it is easy to lead to different power supply equipment, the difference between the ground potential difference, the risk of serious illness patients, so The grounding continuity must also be rigorously tested. The IEC requires PE to resist the resistance of any contact metal at the housing <0.1Ω.
 E, other requirements: to remove the above general requirements, medical equipment also need to meet all the requirements of conventional civilian appliances, such as the need to meet the ROHS requirements, manpower can reach the temperature requirements must meet the requirements of conventional standards, etc., not listed in detail.
